The Attic Vision

At present the Church is failing to reach a new generation of kids with the Love of God. 94% know little of Jesus. Will you join us and rise to the challenge of reaching these little ones. Jesus said "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few." We see a harvest of kids ready to receive Jesus.

  American Team

Every year for the last 4 years we have had a team of youth and adults join for a festival week in late May/June. We want to publicly thank our American friends for coming over every year for their encouragement, for their financial support and for their friendship.

We would also like to pay a special tribute to Doug Haley who has been coming to Dundee for over 13 years to work with kids and families that he has built strong relationships with. The team come from Knoxville, Tennessee and help us run school assemblies, kidz klub, home visits, teens clubs, family events and much more.

  Transformed Lives

Lesley Dunholm mum of Corrie Dunholm (pictured on left. Lesley centre. Corrie on right ) recently became a Christian by coming to the Elim Church.

Corrie who had been attending the Attic had also been coming along to church and started to nag her mum every week to come along. Lesley decided to come along to see what all the fuss was about and discovered that she enjoyed church. Not only that she realised that God was real and wanted to have a personal relationship with herself.

Lesley now comes to church is part of a small group and is in training to be an Attic volunteer herself. Again we have been encouraged if we invest in the children the children can influence the whole family for God.

  Dads & Lads Football

Every Tuesday afternoon we play 5-aside football with some Attic dads and other guys we have managed to develop relationships with. This has been a great way to keep an informal contact with many people.

We see football as a bridge to building stronger links and friendships with the wider family. We even played our first 11-aside game but we were beaten 5-3. We are planning our comeback as we speak!
